As many of you already know, on the First Tuesday of each month Elmo’s Diner-Durham does a fundraiser for PTAs in the Durham public school system. We donate 10% of our sales on First Tuesdays to a designated school PTA. This year, for the first time ever, we are having a back-to-back kick off (of the traditional school year) with two Tuesdays in September. Please check out the dates below and come out and support your schools–or better yet, support them all!

Just in case you were craving an omelet, but worried about our egg supplier–all our eggs are locally produced at the Latta Egg Farm in Hillsborough, NC.

Next week on Tuesday, August 3rd, we will be hosting another First Tuesday in both our Carrboro and Durham locations.

Ten percent of sales from the Carrboro location will go to support the Chapel Hill Public School Foundation (www2.chccs.k12.nc.us/psf).  This is the organization that is responsible for fundraising for special needs for the entire Chapel Hill-Carrboro School system.  Your support of this event helps all the schools in the district.

Ten percent of sales from the Durham location will go to support Easley Elementary.
