Thanks to those of you who turned out for the January blood drive.  The American Red Cross was very pleased with the 31 pints that were donated.  There were many others who tried to give, but were disqualified due to travel, meds or sickness.  It is tricky during flu season!  You may have read in the News and Observer this week that the Triangle has a shortage of blood.  We will continue to host blood drives at Elmo’s in Carrboro to try to help meet this need.  We don’t have the next date set, but please keep checking this site.  There will be one soon!
