Not only is it election day on November 2nd, it is also First Tuesday and Blood Drive day! By eating at Elmo’s-Carrboro on November 2nd you will help us contribute 10% of our day’s total sales to the Chapel Hill Carrboro Public School Foundation and Morris Grove Elementary. You can also go the extra mile and give blood. The American Red Cross will have their mobile blood drive van in the parking lot between 2:30 and 7:00 that day.

The blood drive does accept walk-ins, but it is quicker for you to make an appointment. Visit www.membersforlife.org/cbsr/schedule and click on search by sponsor code and enter 337 to schedule your appointment. You can also call the diner at 919-929-2909 and ask for Cindy McMahan or leave a message and she will return you call to set up an appointment.

In Durham, Elmo’s on Ninth Street will also be holding a First Tuesday and 10% of sales will be going to Central Park School for Children.
