Elmo’s Diner-Durham will be hosting a First Tuesday fundraiser on Tuesday, March 1st for Morehead Montessori Elementary. Ten percent of sales from that day (including take-out) will go to their PTA.

Elmo’s Diner-Carrboro will be hosting a 10% day for Carrboro Elementary and the Chapel Hill-Carrboro Public School Foundation. You can also go the extra mile and give blood. The American Red Cross will have their mobile blood drive van in the parking lot between 2:30 and 7:00 that day.

The blood drive does accept walk-ins, but it is quicker for you to make an appointment. You can also call the diner at 919-929-2909 and ask for Cindy McMahan or leave a message and she will return you call to set up an appointment.

Carrboro Elmo’s will be donating 10% of their sales to the Public School Foundation and McDougle Elementary. There is NOT a blood drive this month in Carrboro, but their will be another one in March.

Yes. Both restaurants run regular hours on Martin Luther King Day! 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Durham will be running weekend brunch specials as well. Other specials may not get updated until tomorrow!
